Welcome to my portfolio website! I’m Akane, a freelance Illustrator and Graphic Designer originally from Japan.
I’ve been living abroad nomadically since 2013 and working remotely from diverse corners of the globe.
Besides freelancing, I’m engaged in a few passion projects including IZAMAMI: an illustration and pattern brand inspired by my travels, managing online shops and creating contents for my travel blog Wanderingbee.

What I Do
I specialize in crafting captivating visuals, including illustrations, graphics, logos and brandings.
As a remote worker, my workspace varies – from home office to coworking spaces, cafes and sometimes a friend’s couch.
During breaks, I like to take short walks or do quick daily chores or exercise to refresh my mind.
This dynamic environment gives my daily life a fresh perspective and allows me to work at my own pace, while maintaining a balance between life and work, flexibility and productivity.
