Founded in Tokyo, the new soft-drink brand J.TRAD bar is passionate about providing new beverage experiences for everyone. I was commissioned an illustration for the new craft soda bottle ‘J.TRAD bar’s CRAFT SODA 〜森の息吹(Breeze of the Forest)〜’.
This new craft soda is a non-alcohol version of gin and tonic that makes it accessible for non-alcohol drinkers to provide a new cocktail experience.
An initial brief from the client was the illustration of a small forest with spices used in the beverage along with some forest animals.
To enhance the impression of the forest to the small label size, I added extra tree branches and plants in addition to the brief and transformed the product name itself as a part of the forest to visualise the concept of the illustration in a playful way.
